November: thankful for those who give back

With the holidays knocking on our doors, many of us take time to think of those less fortunate. Whether we make donations, shop for disadvantaged families, or visit people in need, it’s the time of year when we should all be thankful for what we have and for community organizations that give back to local families.

This month, we are pleased to introduce you to several dedicated members of the Warrenton-Fauquier Jaycees, a group that has served the community with open arms for over 50 years. The Christmas Toy Workshop—one of their most important annual projects—commences this month and will assist in making the holidays special for many area families.

While temperatures are bound to drop, this is the time of year when energy levels are expected to soar. Thanksgiving is just weeks away and families everywhere are anticipating upcoming celebrations and get-togethers that are the very heart of the holiday season.
